
Delegation Lauds ACP Idris Bunu’s Leadership, Reaffirms Commitment to Responsible Media Collaboration in Kaduna State…

BTvNEWS: BTV Online TV Radio and Publication on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Area Commander, Kaduna Metro Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Idris Bunu, at the Command Headquarters on Enugu Road, Kaduna State.

The powerful BTV delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Head of Communication, Research and Strategies, Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku, and was accompanied by members of the BTV media crew, namely Amina Jibril, Khalid AbdulHakeem Adejumo-Ajeseku, Ibrahim Alhassan, and Mustapha Taiwo.
Speaking during the courtesy visit, Comrade AbdulHakeem described the engagement as historic, stating:
“Our courtesy visit is epoch-making in the annals of BTV to visit you, ACP Idris Bunu, who has shown commitment, dexterity, and passion in the course of discharging your duty to maintain peace and order, and protect lives and property in the state as a police officer of the Nigeria Police Force, the resultant of which has made Kaduna to enjoy relative peace and order.”

“You are indeed one of the best things that has ever happened to the Metro Command leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, Enugu Road, Kaduna State, for being dedicated, exemplary, proactive, and responsive,” he added.
“I beseech the Almighty Allah and fervently pray for you, ACP Idris Bunu, to be protected, to be granted sound health, long life, and to be duly rewarded by Allah, the Most High, ” he prayed.
“I reaffirm BTV’s readiness to continue constructive engagement with the Nigeria Police Force in support of peace, accountability, and community-oriented policing,” he further emphasized.

In the same vein, Amina Jibril of BTV commended the Area Commander’s leadership style, stating:
“You are indeed a pride of the Nigeria Police Force, as you have listening ears to complaints and advice in the course of discharging your duty as a police officer.”
“Such openness to dialogue strengthens public trust and reinforces the principle of people-centered policing, which is critical to sustainable security outcomes,” she added.

Responding, ACP Idris Bunu expressed his unreserved gratitude to the BTV team for the visit and the commendations.
“I am indeed happy and grateful for the courtesy visit, the commendation, and the unalloyed support for the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
“I acknowledge the role of responsible media in promoting positive narratives and public understanding of policing efforts,” he added.

“The Nigeria Police Force will do more to serve you better, and we shall be readily willing to receive you at any time to collaborate with the media as the fourth estate, to further sensitize the public that the Nigeria Police Force is the friend of the public, and that we all need to work together to have a better society,” he further stressed.
The visit concluded with a shared commitment by both institutions to sustain engagement in the collective pursuit of peace, security awareness, and social cohesion in Kaduna State.
