“The budget prioritizes capital expenditure, allocating N699.7 billion (71%) to capital projects and N286.2 billion (29%) to recurrent costs. Key sectors benefiting from the allocation include Education (25%), Infrastructure (25%), Health (15%), Agriculture (11.5%), and Security & Peace Building (6%),” he further stressed.

“Those days when you needed to chase files or lobby to get paid are gone. If you have a contract, once it is signed, I will sign your payment immediately. This is a new era of transparency,” he further emphasized.

At the same meeting, Governor Uba Sani reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance, fairness, and sustained investments, saying:

“We remain committed to an inclusive governance framework, ensuring fairness and sustained investments that directly impact communities throughout the state.”
