Ambassador Yerima Honored for Philanthropy

BTvNEWS: A delegation led by Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku, representing Distinguished Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima, attended the Graduation of ICT and Skills Acquisition Empowerment and Award Presentation ceremony of Kalamu Waheed Youths and Women Development on Saturday.

Notably, Ambassador Yerima was among the awardees, receiving a meritorious award, which Comrade AbdulHakeem accepted on his behalf.

The delegation, which included Ibrahim Awwal (S-Boy) and Adam Abdullahi, received a warm reception from the gathering, BTV News reports.

In his remarks, Comrade AbdulHakeem praised the organizers, teachers, parents, and graduates for their exceptional efforts, saying:

Delivering his remarks, Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku, who ably represented Distinguished Amb. Yerima Usman Shettima, at the graduation ceremony.

“My joy is full to represent our indefatigable, considerate, and exemplary leader, Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima, in this graduation ceremony, who is unavoidably absent due to unforeseen circumstances.”

“On his behalf, I donate the sum of N200,000, to support the organization’s initiatives on human development for a better society we are all longing to have,” he added.

Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku receives the meritorious award on behalf of Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima.

“May I implore the well-to-do Nigerians, top-notch politicians, and non-governmental organizations to emulate Amb. Yerima Usman Shettima Foundation on poverty alleviation, youths and women skills acquisition empowerment initiatives for a better society,” he further emphasized.

“I kindly request the congregation’s prayers for Ambassador Yerima’s forthcoming senatorial bid in 2027,” he further stressed.

Members of the high table at the graduation ceremony sampling a variety of delicious local and continental dishes prepared by the graduating students.

In response, the founder of Kalamu Waheed Youths and Women Development, Salisu Muhammad, expressed gratitude to Ambassador Yerima for his generosity and prayed for his success.

Salisu stated: “Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima is the man of the people who has been touching lives positively for a very long time irrespective of tribe and religion, and we are appreciative of the good things he has been doing over the years.”

“Yerima’s support for human development, philanthropic activities, and empowerment programs for the youths, women, orphans, and the downtrodden in the country, particularly Northern Nigeria, cannot be overstated, and we are proud to be identified with him,” he added.

“May Allah reward him here and in the hereafter, elongate his life, and answer his fervent prayers towards his 2027 Senatorial bid,” he further emphasized.
