Shettima Showcases Philanthropy and Devotion at ADS Kaduna

BTvNEWS: In a significant display of community engagement and generosity, Distinguished Ambassador Yerima Usman Shettima, accompanied by his team, attended Jumma’at service at the historic Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Kaduna Branch, the oldest Yoruba mosque on Friday in Kaduna.

This visit underscored Ambassador Shettima’s commitment to fostering strong relationships with diverse communities within Kaduna Central Senatorial District, which he aims to represent in the Senate.

Following the service, Ambassador Shettima officially commissioned a newly installed solar power system, designed to provide a reliable and sustainable source of energy for the mosque.

To support this initiative, he donated One Million Naira, announced on his behalf by Comrade AbdulHakeem Mutiu Adejumo-Ajeseku. During the announcement, Comrade Adejumo-Ajeseku introduced Ambassador Shettima to the congregation.

“May Allah accept his fervent prayers as he contests for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District,” he stated.

At the same Jumma’at service, Ambassador Shettima praised the impactful Khutbah delivered by Alh. Dr. Adam Ayobami.

“I commend the missioner and the entire ADS members for their tireless efforts in promoting Islam in all its facets,” he emphasized.

In the same vein, Alh. Sabur Adeyemi, Chairman of ADS Kaduna Branch, expressed profound gratitude for Ambassador Shettima’s donation and participation.

“We are happy to identify with him, and may Allah reward him abundantly both in this life and the hereafter,” he stated.

The Chief Imam of ADS, Sheikh Imam Abdul’Azeez Abdullahi Kijan, also offered heartfelt prayers, seeking Allah’s blessings for Ambassador Shettima’s future.

“Ambassador Yerima, May your tomorrow be better than today, and may you eat the fruit of his labor, ” he prayed.
